The Malta Crafts Council
was set up by virtue of Act XXI of 2000. The aims of the Council are
focused on the encouragement, promotion and regulation of crafts and
craftsmen and entrepreneurs dealing in Maltese craft products. Crafts

Exhibition:
During the Lent period a collection of religious statues related to
the passion of Christ will be held at the Malta Crafts Centre, St. John’s Square Valletta.
Directory
Official launch of Directory of Craftsmen and Entrepreneurs
registered with the Malta Crafts Council. (Date to be
announced later).

Gieħ l-Artiġjanat
The Parliamentary Secretary for Small Business and the Self Employed, the
Hon. Edwin Vassallo launched the Award “Gieħ l-Artiġjanat fil-Komunita`
on 22 November 2007.
